The Life Ministry Coordinator (LMC) Program
What is the LMC Program?
The purpose of the Life Ministry Coordinator (LMC) program is to bring fuller awareness of life issues to the local church congregation. This is accomplished by establishing at least one or more LMC individuals in each congregation for service as Christian witnesses on life and family issues from a biblical perspective.
Who Me? An LMC?
LFL-C is looking for dedicated individuals willing to give a few hours each year in representing and promoting pro-life issues from congregations across Canada.
What does an LMC do?
The role of an LMC is to promote Pro-Life among their local congregation in conjunction with the counsel of their pastor or elders to determine the level at which the LMC will operate. LFL-C is fully committed to supply support in the form of guidance and literature to the LMC by our LMC Coordinators. Goals are to:
- Learn about life issues on abortion, euthanasia, post-abortion healing and chastity
- Educate and inform others in your congregation about life issues through “mission-minded” activities.
- Plan Life Sunday activities or other projects to educate your local congregation about the sanctity of human life.
- Provide timely Pro-Life information to the pastor, church leadership and membership of the congregation.
- Coordinate Pro-Life activities and projects in your local congregation such as films, workshops and life-focused Bible studies.
- Work with local, regional, provincial and national Pro-Life organizations on projects of mutual interest.
